Privacy Policy

Draft for review. Please confirm this against the data behaviour of the shipped build and have it checked by your legal adviser before the apps go live.

Engineers Digital Hub (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is built to run entirely on your own device. We designed it so that your engineering work stays with you. This policy explains what that means in practice.

The short version

We do not operate servers that receive your project content, we do not require an account, and we do not track you. Your projects, notes, calculations and settings are stored locally on your device.

Information we collect

Purchases and subscriptions

Any free trial, purchase or subscription is handled by the Apple App Store or the Microsoft Store. Billing is managed entirely by those stores under their own terms — we never see your payment card details. The stores process purchase and usage information under their respective privacy policies.

Data on your device

Because your data lives on your device, you control it. You can delete content within the app, and removing the app (subject to your operating system) removes its local data. We recommend keeping your own backups of important project files.

Children

The app is a professional engineering tool and is not directed at children.

Who we are

Engineers Digital Hub is provided by ACDesign. For any data-protection matter, contact us at support@engineersdigitalhub.com.

Keeping your information

Because the app stores your work on your own device, we hold no project data to retain. We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and our records of it — and no longer than 24 months — after which it is deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you (in practice, support correspondence), to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email support@engineersdigitalhub.com and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the date above when we do.
